Bono favorito para el premio Nobel de la paz

Según la agencia de noticias noruega NTB, Bono es uno de los favoritos para ganar el premio Nobel de la paz. El International Peace Research Institute (PRIO) de Noruega considera que los tres candidatos con más posibilidades de ganar el premio son:

- EL ex presidente de Finlandia Martti Ahtisaari
- Los senadores estadounidenses Sam Nunn y Richard Lugar
- Bono

El Viernes 7 Octubre de 2005 a las 11:00 a.m. , se anunciara el ganador del premio Nobel de la Paz.

CD del concierto nada mas terminar

Termina el concierto de U2, y automaticamente , todos salimos corriendo para comprarnos el CD con el AUDIO del mismo, en la tienda especialmente habilitada para ello...¿Realidad o ficción?.
Parece ser que, Universal Music ha llegado a un acuerdo con Instant Live para que grabe los conciertos de los artistas de Universal, eso si, los artistas van a tener que dar el visto bueno.
¿Que posición tomara U2? Bono comento una vez que no le importaba que los fans intercambiaran Bootlegs, eso si, totalmente gratuitos, nada de venderlos. Y The Edge dijo que tenía mas de 200 bootlegs...
A mi la verdad es que no me importaria comprarme el CD del concierto, eso si, a un precio razonable. Más información en online.wsj.com

Bono: ¿Actor en “Across The Universe”?

Parece ser que Bono podria actuar en la pelicula “Across The Universe” dirijida por Julie Taymor, junto a Eddie Izzard. La película, que tiene previsto su estreno en el año 2006, trata de un joven de Liverpool que intenta encontrar a su padre y para ello viaja a Estados Unidos durante la Guerra de Vietnam, y allí.... se enamora de una norteamericana. ¿La banda sonora? Como se puede deducir por el titulo de la pelicula: The Beatles.

Bono estuvo ayer dia 15 de septiembre en Nueva York para participar en la reunion (Clinton Global Initiative) que ha organizado el ex-presidente de los Estados Unidos, Bill Clinton, para hablar sobre la pobreza y el cambio climatico en el mundo.
La reunion empezo ayer dia 15 de Septiembre y durara hasta el dia 17. En las fotos , podemos ver a Bono con Paul Wolfowitz, presidente del banco mundial y con la Reina Rania de Jordania.

Bono y Kate Hudson han coincidido en la fiesta que Kate Hudson, ha organizado con motivos beneficos en Toronto, Canada, este pasado Domingo.

Los fondos recaudados en esta fiesta estan destinados para aliviar la deuda del continente Africano y para los cuidados de lo enfermos de cancer en Canada.

Apple: iPod nano - iPod U2

Apple acaba de sacar al mercado la nueva version de iPod: "iPod nano", que es realmente increible. ipod nano tiene una dimensiones realmente pequeñas (3.5 x 1.6 x 0.27 inches) y una capacidad muy buena (2GB (500 canciones) o 4GB (1,000 canciones).

Comento todo esto, porque a mi entender la relación entre U2 y Apple, con la "iPod U2", es y va a ser una de las más rentables de la historia. Ademas, la idea de sacar "The Complete U2", me parecio todo un acierto, sobre todo porque metieron material no publicado en otros formatos. ¿Sacara al mercado Apple una "iPod nano U2"? Yo la compraria.
